Palmerston North Adventist Christian School (PNACS) is committed to making Christian education affordable to as many students as possible.

To assist families in meeting the cost of education, a direct debit system is available which allows payments to be spread equally across the school year. Please note that the fees listed are for domestic students only. Information on international student fees is available from the school office.

2013 Fees (New Zealand Students)

Payable to the Adventist School's Association:

1. Attendance Dues $125.00 per child per term
2. Special Character Fee $25.00 per term (voluntary)

Payable to the School:

Activity Fees (Yrs 1-6)  $135.00 per child, per annum

This fee includes stationery supplies, excursion costs, visiting educational groups and professional swimming lessons. This inclusive amount will ensure your child/ren can participate in all activities arranged by the School.

Additional costs may be incurred for extra-curricular activities such as sports teams and Marae visits.

Payment Options

PNACS creates an annual fee statement at the beginning of the year to assist families with their budgeting. This statement will show all anticipated charges for the year and provides a number of payment options.

Fee instalments can be made as follows:
  • Option A: Fees are paid up-front for the year
  • Option B: Fees are paid up-front for the term
  • Option C: You may arrange weekly, fortnightly, or monthly direct debit payments
It is important that you notify the school office at the beginning of the year, before the first due date, of the payment option you intend to use.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque and direct debit.

Variation from a pre-arranged payment plan would need to be arranged with the Principal.

Financial Assistance

Recognising that some families experience short term financial hardship, PNACS has limited funding available to assist families experiencing genuine difficulties. We are dedicated to ensuring that financial hardship is not the primary reason for students being unable to attend or remain at our school. In cases of genuine extreme hardship, assistance in meeting fees may be available. Families wishing to make application for student aid should arrange an interview with the Principal.
